It’s hard to know where to begin.

For months, Scone Palace Garden Fair lived in our heads. In sketches, lists, late-night ideas, plans that changed ten times over, and conversations that started with, “What if we tried this…?”

And then suddenly, it was here.

What always amazes me about events like this is that people see the finished stand, but they don’t see the village behind it.

The people who say yes to your ideas.

The people who lend a hand.

The people who quietly show up and help make the impossible possible.

To for creating our beautiful sign, for bringing our branding to life, Ewen Stewart & Son for transporting our little world there and back safely, Andrew for going above and beyond — quite literally — and Louisa at for upholstering our chaise especially for the show; thank you. Every one of you played a part in creating something really special.

Thank you to .plant.centre and for supplying the beautiful plants that helped transform our stand into a little piece of The Hideaway.

A special thank you to the organisers , stewards and everyone behind the scenes at Scone Palace Garden Fair. The amount of work, care and dedication that goes into creating such a wonderful event cannot be underestimated, and we feel incredibly lucky to be a small part of it.

What a pleasure it has been to spend the day at Scone Palace Garden Fair amongst gardeners, growers, makers and those who simply delight in beautiful gardens.

Thank you to everyone who sought us out, lingered awhile, shared stories, and took a little piece of The Hideaway home with them. These conversations and connections are at the heart of what we do.

The setting, the atmosphere and the generosity of spirit throughout this year’s Garden Fair have made for a truly memorable day. It was also a pleasure to finally meet and spend some time with Banjo Beale and Grandpa.

You’ve all left us feeling so excited for tomorrow. If you’re joining us again, we look forward to seeing you. If tomorrow is your first visit, we can’t wait to welcome you.

We’ll be at Stand No. 2, ready for Day 2.

We’re only ONE week out until the Scone Palace Garden Fair 🤭✨

Behind the scenes, we’ve been gathering together a beautifully considered collection for our second year at Scone Palace — antique garden pieces, weathered pots, layered textures, timeless interiors and inspiration for creating the indoors outdoors; spaces designed for slowing down, gathering, entertaining and enjoying the beauty of outdoor living.

Inspired by this season’s Chelsea mood of romantic planting, natural materials and elegant garden styling, our collection is all about making outdoor spaces feel as thoughtful and inviting as the home itself.

Join us on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th May for two days of flowers, gardens, interiors and countryside charm in one of Scotland’s loveliest settings.

A gentle reminder that The Hideaway shop will be closed whilst we’re away exhibiting, so we’d love for you to come and find us at the fair instead.
