I popped a candle in this little lantern last night and I'm really pleased with the effect!

I used a chunky kilner jar inside so I could add a real candle but you could easily use an electric one or string of fairy lights.

So we didn't win the Northwest Regional Final of the UK StartUp’s last week.

But I'm thrilled and honoured to have been a finalist amongst some really great small businesses.

Making the most of the weather (and then shade!) and wet felting on the lawn.

Prepping a sample for Saturday's class at Bibelot where we'll be making these lovely lanterns to hold a candle in the garden or indoors. So many options! I'm trying this lovely silk and merino blend with some Perendale flowers.

Inspired by sunsets over the sea in Paxos, Sorrento and Rosneigr - some of my favourite places.

Working on something new for my International Feltmakers Assoc felt swap!!!

The theme for this year’s swap is Geometry. Each participant will create a unique mini felt piece, inspired by geometric forms, patterns, or concepts.

Time has marched on so I best get a move on!

Great news bread fans!

I will be at the again tomorrow with a pop up sourdough stall.

Plain loaves and foccaccia. This Italian bread makes excellent steak sandwiches with fresh chimichurri 😋 Or of course go really well with pasta dishes or soup. Or just eat with your hands like a bread savage😂
