BARRISOL INSTALLATION ENGINEER REQUIRED

As a Barrisol Installation Engineer, you’ll need to be able to work as part of a team or alone installing Barrisol ceilings and LED lighting around the UK, so must be willing to travel with the occasional nights away.

Required Education, Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience on sites
- CSCS card
- Full UK driving license
- Attention to detail

Desirable Education, Qualifications and Skills:

- IPAF (scissor lift training) certificate
- PASMA (scaffold training) certificate
- Willing to train for IPAF and PASMA certificates if don’t already have them
- Desirable to have electrical knowledge within LED strip lighting or have electrical certification

Barrisol Welch is looking for a trainee to join our existing Estimating / Project team based in our office in Somerford Booths, Congleton. Our team install Barrisol stretch ceilings in an exciting array of buildings around the UK. Please have a look at our website www.barrisolwelch.com to give you a better idea of what we do. You will be involved in learning how to provide quotes for the jobs and support the engineers in their work (e.g. ordering materials, booking accommodation, providing the necessary Health and Safety documents etc). No experience is necessary as you will work alongside one of our existing team who will provide on the job training. Applicants must have a positive “can do” attitude, be reliable with a willingness to learn, pay close attention to detail and have good written and verbal communication skills. Due to the nature of the work, we would expect the applicant to have the minimum qualifications of Maths, English and ICT. They must also have a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. As we are based just outside Congleton the candidate should ideally be able to drive or have alternative means of transport to be able to get to the office. The role is full time (Mon- Fri) with salary dependent on experience.
