Here’s a closer look at the main bathroom from this recently completed new build in Clonoe, with all tiles supplied by Bremar Tiles. 👌

The large-format stone-effect porcelain has been used across both the walls and floor, creating a consistent finish throughout the room. The natural variation within the tile adds plenty of character, while the warm neutral tones work particularly well alongside the brushed brass finishes.

There are some great details throughout this bathroom, from the fluted shower screen and shower niche with LED strip light to the wall-hung toilet, freestanding bath and dark vanity. Using one main tile throughout keeps everything balanced and allows these individual features to stand out.

One tile. Three completely different directions. Which would you choose — A, B or C?

One of the advantages of choosing a versatile neutral tile is that the finished room doesn’t have to look neutral.

Pair the same tile with natural oak and brushed brass and it immediately feels warmer. Introduce black and darker timber and you create much stronger contrast. Add muted greens, natural textures and bronze finishes and the same tile takes on another look again.

This is why we always recommend looking beyond the tile sample itself. Your cabinetry, sanitaryware, brassware, paint colours and lighting will all influence how that tile eventually looks in the room.

A lot of preparation and detail went into this one, with wood-effect tiles laid in a straight plank pattern flowing continuously through five rooms.

The sunroom adds something a little different, with a herringbone layout finished with brass trim and a double border — a great example of how the same tile can be used in different ways throughout a home.

Planning a room? Sometimes it makes sense to start from the floor up.

Paint colours, furniture and accessories can all be changed relatively easily over the years. Your tiles or wooden flooring are much more permanent, so choosing these first can make the rest of the room much easier to plan.

Think about the overall feel you want to create. A warm oak floor can give you a base for creams, taupes, greens and warmer finishes, while a cooler stone-effect tile can work well alongside greys, darker cabinetry and more contemporary finishes.

It’s also worth bringing samples of your kitchen doors, worktops or paint colours with you when choosing flooring. Seeing everything together under the same light can completely change your decision.

Your floor doesn’t have to be the boldest part of the room — but it should be something the rest of the room works with.

One kitchen. Three flooring options. Which would you choose? 👇

The floor can completely change the look and feel of a kitchen, so we’ve taken the same space and shown it with three very different finishes.

A herringbone wood-effect tile brings warmth, texture and plenty of character. The marble-effect tile gives the room a brighter, cleaner finish with more movement through the veining. Or, for something more understated, the stone-effect tile adds natural texture while keeping the overall look neutral and easy to pair with the rest of the kitchen.

From mood board ideas to how they could look in your home. 👌

Choosing tiles individually is one thing, but seeing how different finishes, textures and tones work together can make the decision much easier.

For these two concepts, we’ve taken tile pairings from Ceramica Sant’Agostino and built a complete look around each one. Pairing One uses soft, natural stone tones to create a warm and relaxed finish, while Pairing Two takes a more contemporary approach with concrete-effect tiles and subtle texture.

The mood boards show how the tiles can work alongside cabinetry, worktops, paint colours and other finishes, before bringing the full idea together in a finished room setting.
