What A Wonderful Evening at Cookstown Floral Art Club.

What a fabulous evening we enjoyed last night at Cookstown Floral Art Club with the talented Leslie Brant from Bangor.
Leslie entertained us throughout her wonderful demonstration with stories about her mother, Martha, and beautiful music to accompany her floral creations. We were treated to a spectacular display of colourful flowers, imaginative designs and stunning ideas.
A special thank you also goes to Leslie’s friend, Ann, who kept her company on the journey to our club.
We would like to wish Leslie the very best of luck next July as she competes at the National Show in Lincoln, to represent NIGFAS.
The evening ended with a delicious supper, complete with homemade biscuits and there was some lucky members who won Leslie’s beautiful creations. It was an evening to remember and we look forward to welcoming Leslie back again sometime.

It was lovely to welcome back our members, along with new members and visitors, last night as we began a new season of floral art.
We were delighted to have Karen Frew , who demonstrated some beautiful floral designs and conversation throughout the evening.
Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a delicious supper and a lovely chance to relax and catch up. It was a great start to our new season.

Denise and Emily from Cookstown Floral Art Club had a wonderful and inspiring time attending Spirit of the North, held at Armagh City Hotel in honour of NAFAS National President, James Burnside from Kilrea. It was fitting celebration of his presidency and a wonderful opportunity for members to come together. James is a highly respected judge, demonstrator, speaker and teacher.
Denise and Emily enjoyed inspiring teaching demonstrations and a Gala flower demonstration by Alan Beatty and Christine Hughes. The evening finished of with a lovely gala dinner and a ceilidh. It was certainly a memorable day and one that they were delighted to share on behalf of Cookstown Floral Art Club.
