RCP stands for Reflected Ceiling Plan.

We use RCP's to plan lighting layouts and circuits, making sure the lighting elements correspond to the room layout.

We indicate the type of fitting, its appearance and the circuit it is connected to, allowing the project electricians to quickly and accurately understand our lighting design intent.

3 sustainable swaps that instantly elevate your home and reduce waste

1. For furniture, choose solid timber, not flat-pack fillers.
Well made wooden furniture can be repaired, refinished and lived with for years, rather than replaced every time tastes change or a flat pack panel gives up. For more budget friendly options, marketplaces and charity shops are always worth a look.

2. Go natural with your textiles.
Linen, wool and organic cotton feel better to live with, age beautifully and avoid the microplastics that come with synthetics.

3. Mix in second hand or vintage pieces.
They bring character, tell a story and stop perfectly good furniture ending up in landfill. Win win.

A living room mood board built around a piece with real soul.

This antique yellow cabinet was always going to be the starting point, used as a TV unit and instantly giving the room warmth and personality.

Ochres, sky blues and accents of terracotta keep things feeling grounded and easy, while the antique pieces add depth, texture and a sense that the space has evolved over time.

Nothing too polished. Just a room that feels good to be in.

What if your office actively supported your health & wellbeing?

Being close to nature at work can reduce stress and support creativity and job satisfaction. Research shows that biophilic design — like nature views, plants and natural light — helps people feel calmer and more connected, which can boost creativity and overall satisfaction in a space.

Natural light supports mood and energy. Sunlight exposure boosts the production of serotonin — sometimes called the “happy hormone” — which can help reduce anxiety and improve mood at work.

Indoor plants and light can subtly improve air quality and humidity. Greenery in interiors helps balance humidity and may help filter airborne pollutants, contributing to a more pleasant environment.

Fit out day (sometimes days!) is one of our favourite parts of a project. It’s the moment everything comes together. From stocking the kitchen and making the beds, to building furniture and adding those finishing touches that make a space feel like home, we often find ourselves staying late just to get it all done.

It’s busy, it’s hands-on, but it's nice to get out of the office sometimes!
