Why? Because our venue is PERFECT for hosting all things ‘I do.’

Who? You! And a load of suppliers. Come and enjoy the venue set up for a real life wedding and meet with local suppliers.

Alas we are coming to the time of year where the colours in your garden begin to change, muddy boots are being thrown on and the dressing gown that took its rest is being pulled back out. Summer is fading. Sad times! But that does mean one thing... Dahlia season! 🤣
I personally think late summer flowers are the prettiest. You can't beat the shades and the wow factor of these flowers. This beauty here is the size of a tea plate! Although... I wouldn't advise eating off of it. Purely for display only 🤣

Let's talk dried 💡
- I think you either love them or you hate them. And if you hate them, I want to try and change that.
- Longevity. I've now managed to make a Zinnia that would typically last 5-7 days last 1-3 years. I mean, that's cool, no?
- You can dry any old flowers, yes! Some turn out better than others I have to say but give it a whirl! I mean... Did you love that bunch your friend or partner gave you? Dry it!
- Either leave them in a vase with little water, let them dry out for 1-2 weeks or, hang upside down in a well ventilated area for 1-2 weeks.
Random fact: Ancient Egyptians used to use dried flowers for wreaths and garlands to place in tombs. Been a trend a few years eh?

🍂 Dried Bouquets! 🍂
Over the next few weeks you'll see our dried bouquets pop up at some of our lovely suppliers. You might even spot some of the stems appearing in fresh cut bunches for that added boho feel...
I adore dried grasses and flowers, they can be trendy and in style and they can look so classy in a vase during autumn.
