Another one finished and ready for a new home.

Handcrafted from solid hardwood with a contrasting centre strip, this serving board is perfect for everything from morning coffee to cheese boards, grazing platters and everyday use.

Each board is shaped, sanded and finished by hand in my workshop, so no two are ever exactly the same.

Each coaster is made from contrasting walnut and oak with natural character features, making every set completely unique. Sanded smooth and finished by hand with food safe mineral oil.

Been working on a custom gate with curved rails and traditional joinery. Took a bit of time getting the arcs clean and everything lined up properly, but it’s coming together nicely.

Still a bit of sanding and final tweaks to go before finish goes on.

I always enjoy this stage — when it starts looking like something rather than just bits of wood.
