It took three of us, a stepladder and a lot of patience to get this light installation in!

The café is called The Village Tree, so we wanted a feature that grows across the ceiling like branches. Seeing it in place, it really is the wow feature we designed it to be.

Below it, the curved bar is tiled and the shelf lighting is on, catching every ripple in those handmade tiles. Still plenty of boxes and paint tins around, but you can see where it’s heading.

Next stop: furniture.

Introducing NOVA. A new bar, with a story taking shape.

We’re excited to share a first look at an upcoming Black Ivy project, beginning with the brand identity and bringing the interior vision to life through CGI renders.

Rich reds, warm lighting and tactile finishes set the tone for an atmospheric space designed around connection and the guest experience. From the visual identity to the interior details, we’re developing a cohesive story for the venue.

This is just the beginning. We look forward to sharing more as NOVA takes shape.

A new chapter for .kenilworth

Inspired by the venue’s name and its beautiful setting beside Abbey Fields, this project became a story of books, nature and layered details designed to reconnect the space with its surroundings.

From hand drawn murals and bespoke artwork to floral book pages mounted onto hessian frames, every element was carefully designed to bring warmth, character and storytelling into the interiors.

It’s these thoughtful details that make a space feel truly connected to guests.
