This is an A4 coloured pencil Christmas commission of sausage dogs Sid & Nancy 🐾🌭

This has been one of my favourites to draw so far, dachshunds have the perfect little faces for portraits and I love a black/brown colour palette 🖤🤎

This is recent commission of a pretty black dog in coloured pencil A4 size !

This was a very satisfying but difficult draw as black fur is never truly black, the undertones of mostly purples/blues are an essential part of photo-realism to enhance the lighting and avoid the fur looking too flat !

It’s been a busy December so far but i’m excited to share the commissions i’ve recieved for Christmas🎄 General commissions for next year are available if you’d like your own personal portrait ~📩

A new A4 graphite dog commission of Hank the husky! 🐾

This one was quite different as I had to make a realistic interpretation of a husky plushie, focusing mainly on the markings so Hank was recognisable !

As this was gifted from a parent to a young child, this felt like a really special way to honour their best friend and bring their imagination of Hank to life 🩷✏️

This is a commission from last month of a very pretty grey horse in a headcollar~ ✨

Greys (white horses) can be tricky on white paper so the undertones are very important to make them stand out, in this case I used subtle yellows from the natural lighting and focused a lot on the darker areas to make it pop !

This double portrait I had done around a month ago of 2 dogs in coloured pencil ✏️
With one of the dogs not with us anymore, it’s a nice sentiment for the owners to have them both drawn together as the perfect reminder of their beloveds ❤️
