Another lovely orangery finished in Coventry — Roman blinds fitted across all the angled windows, folding neatly up into that vaulted ceiling. The taupe linen takes the edge off the light without blocking the garden view, and it sits well with the chandelier and the leather sofas underneath.

Measured and fitted by our own team, made right here in our Coventry workshop.

Full height shutters fitted across a kitchen and bedroom in Coventry this week. Lovely job this — full-height shutters across a wide bedroom window that fold back completely for the view, or angle shut for privacy. Same visit, we fitted shutters on a tall glazed door and roller blinds above the kitchen sink in a warm patterned fabric. All made in our Coventry workshop and fitted by our own team.

Bay windows are everywhere across Earlsdon, Stoke and Stivichall — and every one of them is a bit awkward to dress, because standard blinds are made for flat windows. We've been fitting Coventry's bays since 2007, and depending on the shape — square, splayed or curved — we'll usually talk you through curved vertical track blinds, plantation shutters, or Roman blinds hung to each face. Everything's measured on a home visit, shaped or made in our Coventry workshop, and fitted by our own team. Pop into the showroom on Endemere Road or book a free home survey — 02476 661092.

Notice the sun's been getting into rooms it barely reached all summer? That's the low autumn light, and it brings two problems: glare in west-facing living rooms, and privacy once the evenings draw in. It's harder on your blinds and shutters too, uneven fading is usually the first sign. A little variation in slat angle helps protect them through the season. If a sunny room in your Coventry or Warwickshire home needs a look, our showroom on Endemere Road is open Mon–Fri 9–5 and Sat 9–1, or we'll come to you. Free home survey — 02476 661092.

A bay window in Coventry, fitted with plantation shutters across all four panels. It's a fiddly shape to get right — three angles meeting at the corners — but that's the job we like. Made in our Coventry workshop and fitted by our own team, the louvres sit level and clean, giving lovely soft light and a proper finished look to the room. If you've got a bay window that needs sorting properly, pop into the showroom or book a free home survey. 02476 661092
