🏠 IT’S NOT ALWAYS JUST ABOUT FITTING THE CARPET… 👌

A little behind-the-scenes look at what goes into a Karpet Kingdom installation.

Old flooring up, preparation sorted and the new carpet fitted. With the new carpet sitting higher, the door wouldn’t open properly, so it was trimmed down and rehung to make sure everything worked exactly as it should. 🚪🪚

Then, as always, a full hoover and clean down before we leave — because that’s all part of the first-class service we pride ourselves on. ✨👌

It’s those little finishing touches that make the difference. We don’t just fit your flooring and disappear — we make sure the whole job is finished properly and ready for you to enjoy.

Investing in the next generation 👏

Yesterday, our young fitters Jack and Luke spent the day at the F. Ball Centre of Excellence, continuing their training and keeping up to date with the latest products, techniques and best practices in flooring installation.

The course covered everything from subfloor identification and moisture measurement through to priming, smoothing compounds and choosing and using the correct adhesives. They also got plenty of hands-on experience putting the products and techniques into practice, along with a tour of the F. Ball factory.

Flooring products and installation methods are constantly developing, so we think it’s important that our fitters continue learning and improving — especially the younger members of our team who are building their experience and skills for the future.

A productive day for Jack and Luke, and another bit of training under their belts. 👏

The real finishing touch is the specialist aluminium wrap stair nosings in chrome, giving each step a sharp, clean edge while complementing the French Oak perfectly.

Another school project completed by the Karpet Kingdom Rugby team 🙌🏻

This time we’ve been busy refreshing two classrooms, two offices, the main corridor and foyer.

The classrooms and offices were fitted with New Lincolnshire carpet on 8mm underlay, giving the rooms a fresh, comfortable and hard-wearing finish.

For the busy communal areas, we uplifted the existing flooring and installed new carpet tiles throughout the corridor and foyer – a practical and durable choice for high-traffic areas.

A great transformation and another commercial flooring project completed from start to finish. 👌🏻

Another bathroom transformation completed by our Rugby store 👌🏼

Old flooring uplifted and the floor fully prepped before installing 9mm plyboard, giving us a solid, smooth base ready for the new flooring.

Finished with Smartstep Vinyl – Modica 532, neatly fitted around the toilet, shower and existing bathroom fittings, with white silicone to finish everything off nicely.

Uplift ➡️ Plyboard prep ➡️ New vinyl ✅

Another cracking stairs & landing install completed from our Warwick shop 👌🏼

Country Collection Herringbone fitted on cosi underlay, finished off with antique brass stair rods for that extra touch. 🤩

The herringbone with the antique brass works perfectly together — a really classy finish 🙌🏼

Zig Zag Champagne fitted throughout, giving the staircase a really smart, clean finish.

We paired it with Cloud 9 Cumulus 11mm underlay for that extra bit of comfort underfoot and a quality finish that’ll last. 🙌🏼

Love the subtle zig-zag pattern on this one — enough detail to stand out without being too much. 🤩

Something a little different on this one — and what a finish! 👌🏼

Rolling Hills Wool – colour Coverdale, fitted as a runner to the stairs & landing, finished with Jubilee chrome stair rods. 😍

☁️ Cloud 9 11mm underlay on the landing
☁️ The customer was originally having 10mm underlay on the stairs, but we upgraded the customer to Cloud 9 Contract to give the runner an even better finish. 👍🏼

The combination of the herringbone design, white staircase and chrome rods works brilliantly. 👌🏼

Smart, traditional and a little bit different. ❤️
