I’ve been a little quiet on here for the past couple of days, but believe me, I’ve been anything but quiet behind the scenes! 😂💜

One thing I’d forgot about is that running a home fragrance business involves SO much more than just pouring wax and selling it!
Every fragrance needs checking individually, and different products and fragrance percentages can mean different CLP labelling requirements. So there’s calculating how much fragrance oil I’m using, checking safety information, designing labels and making sure everything is compliant. It’s definitely not a case of one label fits all! 🤪

And let me tell you… who knew I’d need to use my maths skills this much at my age?! 🤣

Then there’s designing, printing, testing, packaging, ordering supplies and everything else that goes into getting a product ready to sell.
I’m also working away on TWO new products that I’m really excited to share with you soon! ✨

All of this is happening alongside working full-time and dealing with a painful tear in my hip, so some days I’m definitely running on determination (and plenty of cups of tea! ☕)

So if I’m a little quieter on here, it certainly doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Quite the opposite!
There’s so much love, time and effort going into Scent of the North, and I can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
