A little trip to the Kent coast for this one! 🌊🐏

More work from the team, this time at Haven Holiday Park, where we’ve supplied and fitted new flooring throughout the kitchen, hallway and living area of this holiday home.

A lovely fresh grey wood-effect vinyl for the kitchen and hallway, with a soft grey carpet in the living area to keep things nice and cosy.

A great little refresh, and we’re really pleased with how it all looks! 👌

And the weather? Well, let’s just say it was a perfect day for being indoors! 😬🌧️🌧️

Some floors really don’t want to come up! 😂🔨

This one in Matfield certainly put the team to work!

The original engineered oak was VERY well stuck down, so out came the crowbars before we could even think about fitting the new floor.

Once uplifted, we prepared the subfloor with latex smoothing compound before supplying and fitting Amtico Spacia Honey Oak.

And then there was the round room! 👀 Not something we come across every day when fitting LVT, but we do love a challenge.

A brilliant effort from the team, a beautiful finish and, most importantly, some very happy returning customers.

We think it looks tremendous! 🐏

Thinking about new flooring for your own home? Feel free to pop into our Hawkhurst showroom or get in touch for a friendly chat. We’d be happy to help.

A lovely bit of Amtico fitting just outside Staplehurst! 🐏

We’ve been back to see some returning customers to supply and fit Amtico Spacia XL Royal Oak in their utility room and bathroom.

As you can see from the photos, this wasn’t the most straightforward of jobs! With plenty of awkward corners, exposed beams, pipework and different floor heights to contend with, there was quite a bit of careful preparation and cutting involved.

We used ARDEX CL Plus smoothing compound to prepare the subfloor, followed by Amtico HT Extra adhesive to secure the new flooring.

Royal Oak has a lovely warm, natural wood appearance, which works particularly well alongside the character of this older property.

Excellent work from our fitter Jack, who always takes that extra bit of care to get the little details right. 👏

And a big thank you to our customers for choosing us again. It’s always lovely to be invited back!

We do get to work in some amazing places! 🐏

Not a bad view from the office today! 😍

One of the lovely things about what we do is the variety of properties we get to visit. From little country cottages to beautiful historic buildings like this one, no two jobs are quite the same.

And wherever we’re working, the same care and attention goes into every floor.

The Fitted Carpet Company – proudly fitting floors across Kent and East Sussex.

A lovely, warm finish with Cormar Zenith in Dark Taupe! 🐏

We recently supplied and fitted Cormar Zenith in Dark Taupe to this lounge and study, complete with new Wilson’s Plushwalk underlay for that extra bit of comfort underfoot.

Zenith is a lovely heavyweight twist carpet, made in Britain using 100% Ultralux polypropylene. It’s designed for busy homes, with some great practical benefits:

✔️ Soft and comfortable underfoot
✔️ Stain-resistant and bleach-cleanable
✔️ Suitable for extra-heavy domestic use
✔️ 10-year stain and wear warranty

The Dark Taupe shade works beautifully in these rooms, adding warmth without being too dark.

We also took care of some floorboard repairs at the customer’s request before fitting. Not strictly part of the carpet fitting, but we’re always happy to help with those little extras where we can. 😊

Another tidy job from the chaps. Good work, as always! 👏

If you’re considering new carpets, pop into our family-run showroom in Hawkhurst. We have a lovely selection to suit all sorts of homes.

A lovely fresh finish in Sandhurst this week! 😊🐏

We supplied and fitted Likewise Sentiment in Linen to this bedroom and the three steps leading down into it.

What a difference a new carpet makes! The light, neutral Linen shade really brightens up the room, especially alongside those white walls and lovely big windows.

Sentiment is a 100% polypropylene twist-pile carpet, offering a lovely combination of comfort and practicality. Its stain-resistant, bleach-cleanable fibres make it a sensible choice for everyday living, and it’s available in both 4m and 5m widths.

A great option if you’re looking for something that feels cosy underfoot, looks smart and is easy to look after.

The three steps needed a little extra care to get everything finished neatly, and we’re really pleased with how this one turned out.

Another lovely result from the chaps! 👏

If you’re thinking about freshening up a bedroom or replacing carpets elsewhere in your home, pop into our Hawkhurst showroom. We supply and professionally fit carpets throughout Kent and East Sussex.

A fair bit of carpet went into this one! 😅🐏

Cormar Silken Serenity in Mead, supplied and fitted throughout the lounge, dining room, hallway, stairs, landing and three bedrooms.

We also supplied and fitted new Plushwalk underlay, replaced 7 door edgings, uplifted and disposed of all the old flooring and dealt with a fair bit of furniture along the way.

Silken Serenity is one of Cormar’s lovely soft, deep-pile carpets. It’s made in Britain from 100% Luxura polypropylene, so although it has that really soft, luxurious feel underfoot, it’s also designed to cope with proper everyday family life. It’s stain resistant, bleach cleanable, rated for Extra Heavy Domestic use and comes with Cormar’s 10-year stain & wear warranty.

And it’s not just us who like it — Silken Serenity won Best Carpet at the Livingetc Style Awards 2025 and Best Bedroom Flooring at the Ideal Home Awards 2026. Not bad!

The Mead colour works really nicely here too. Warm enough to make the rooms feel cosy without being too dark, and it flows beautifully through the different areas of the house.

There was plenty of furniture shifting and a lot of floor to cover, but the chaps worked hard and had the whole lot wrapped up in just a couple of days.

Good work, chaps. 👏

If you’re thinking about replacing carpets throughout several rooms — or even the whole house — pop into our Hawkhurst showroom. We can take care of the measuring, old flooring, underlay, fittings and installation from start to finish.

The finished floor is the bit you see… the preparation underneath is what makes it work. 👌

This is Amtico Spacia Traditional Oak in small parquet, supplied and fitted through the kitchen, hallway, WC and dining area of this home in Hawkhurst.

There was plenty going on underneath this one. Different floor levels meant areas needed building up with flooring-grade plywood, along with ARDEX CL Plus smoothing compound to get everything flat, smooth and flowing properly from one area into the next.

A little bit of head scratching along the way too… 😂

But this is exactly why the preparation matters with LVT. Once that small parquet starts going down, any imperfections underneath can spoil what should be a really sharp finish.

And the result speaks for itself. The Traditional Oak works beautifully in this pattern and running it continuously through the different areas really ties the whole downstairs together.

Another cracking installation from Jack. 👏🐏
