For Episode Two of In Conversation, we’re back with stepping inside his master en-suite and taking a closer look at the thinking behind the space.

We talk through the design decisions, the materials, the details and how the room came together — hearing from Ben about what shaped the finished scheme and the choices that make it feel so considered.

For us, this is the part we love. Looking beyond how a beautiful interior photographs and understanding why certain decisions were made, how materials work together and the details that give a space its identity.

And when it’s the home of an interior designer, there’s always plenty to talk about…

A bathroom where the materials do all the talking.

Travertine wraps the space in warmth and texture, softened by diffused natural light and layered with brushed metal, dark timber and fluted glass.

The freestanding bath sits quietly beneath sculptural pendants, while the reeded shower screen gives privacy without closing the room down.

Nothing here is fighting for attention — it’s the combination of texture, proportion, light and detail that creates the luxury.

A calm, architectural bathroom designed to feel as good as it looks.

The guest WC is always a space we like to give a little extra attention to; considered lighting, brassware that becomes a talking point, and tactile finishes that invite you to touch them. A small space with the opportunity to make a big impression; somewhere you can close the door, switch off, and feel completely enveloped in luxury.

A master en-suite designed to feel like a retreat.

Rich natural stone, dark timber and warm layered lighting create a space that feels calm, cocooning and quietly luxurious. Minimal brassware keeps the detailing architectural, while the bespoke vanity and integrated shower niche allow the materials to take centre stage.

Proof that darker bathrooms don’t have to feel cold or heavy — when texture, tone and lighting are considered together, they can feel incredibly warm and inviting.

What an evening! Celebrating 13 years of 🥂✨✨

We were honoured to be part of the panel discussion, talking all things design with an incredible line up of speakers hosted beautifully by Dr Vanessa Brady OBE, Founder & CEO of .sbid Then onto exploring the new displays with and wandering the on site travel product gallery with so much to take in ✨

Food by was exceptional, and the whole evening was pulled together beautifully by Natalie and the team. A genuinely gorgeous night celebrating a brand that’s been at the top of its game for over a decade.

Grateful to be part of a night that celebrates exceptional craft, community and 13 years of doing it right. Here’s to what they do next! 🥂
