Local Next Day Deliveries/pick up/click & collect

Please bear with me on this new offer. I'm feeling my way forward in trying to make it a service offering that fulfils everybody's needs and wants. (Feedback is welcome)

The shipping/ delivery/pick up (click & collect) service at the moment is as follows:

Three offerings - shipping, local delivery or pick up (click & collect).

Shipping: Royal Mail (I don't use Evri unless you specifically request it. Please get in touch). Small parcels up to 1.9kgs tracked £3.85. Covers UK Mainland.

Local Delivery: Next day delivery (subject to availability - errors do happen within the inventory from time to time!). Limited only to a 1 mile circumference of Crediton Town Centre for now. I'm hopeful of extending this if demand is there.

Cost is £1.50 for a minimum order value of £5. Free delivery for order values over £20.

Orders must be placed before 12pm the previous day to qualify for next day delivery.

If you require contactless delivery please authorise a safe place such as neighbour, porch, shed etc. NB: The order will be considered as legally received by you. Only pick this method if you are prepared to accept responsibility. An image will be taken of the site of delivery and a note put through your letterbox, notifying you.

Local deliveries will be delivered between 12pm and 3pm

Pick Up/Click & Collect:

Pick up/Click & Collect orders can be placed throughout the week at any time online at www.craftsisters.co.uk. All orders will be available for collection from me on Wednesday of every week between 12pm and 1pm on the Market Square. Other days may become available as I gain insight into requirements.

As said this is work in progress. Please bear with me. I'm sure there will be gremlins to work through to make this as streamlined an offering as possible.

The map image, although not completely precise, gives an idea of the area serviced currently. If you open the map in a new tab it should be a little larger. Presently, it is restricted to a 1 mile radius from the centre of Crediton.

CraftSisters Shop Closure Announcement

This is such an incredibly difficult message to write, but with a very heavy heart I have to announce that CraftSisters will be closing the shop doors for the final time Saturday 24 October 2026.

When I opened CraftSisters in January 2020, I had nothing but high hopes for the future. Unfortunately, I’ve now had to accept that, financially, it is simply no longer feasible to keep the shop open.

I want to take this opportunity to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me and CraftSisters over the years. Your custom, kind words, encouragement and friendship have meant more to me than I can say.

I also want to acknowledge everyone who continues to support local businesses. The ethos of “keeping it local” is truly amazing, and I know so many of you genuinely try to shop locally whenever you can. Sadly, though, the reality is that there simply isn’t enough foot-fall to keep the shop financially viable.

This may be the end of the physical shop, but it is not the end of CraftSisters.

I intend to remain fully open online at www.craftsisters.co.uk, and I’m also looking into starting a local delivery service. My hope is that this will allow those of you who want to continue supporting a local, independent business to do so from the comfort of your own home.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the CraftSisters journey so far. Closing the shop is heartbreaking, but I’m determined to look forward and see where the next chapter takes me.
