When machining timber, even a tiny deviation can influence how well the finished product performs.

That’s why we maintain strict tolerances throughout the manufacturing process, from the first cut to the final fitting.

Accoya’s uniform structure allows our tooling to produce exceptionally clean, consistent cuts, which in turn supports tight joints, smooth movement and airtight seals.

It’s accuracy that pays off later: no sticking sashes, no rattling in the wind, no misaligned sightlines.

This technical precision is what gives handcrafted joinery its unmistakable feel; that sense of solidity when you open or close it, and the way everything lines up exactly as it should.

It’s subtle, but it’s what separates good joinery from genuinely excellent joinery. Get in touch and see for yourself:

Sustainability isn’t just about what timber you use; it’s about how long it lasts.

We choose Accoya because its lifespan is exceptional. It’s stable, weather-resistant, and naturally rot-proof without synthetic preservatives.

That longevity reduces replacement cycles and cuts waste, making them better value for money versus uPVC options.

Combined with our precise manufacturing and finishing processes, we deliver windows and doors that look good while standing up to changing climates.

From responsibly sourced timber to energy-efficient glazing, every decision we make supports lasting value for both the homeowner and the environment.

At Wealden Joinery we believe that true sustainability is built to endure.

A smooth-closing window isn’t luck; it comes from precise design and stable, well-made joinery.

It’s the kind of reliability that makes a window enjoyable to use every day, and it’s one of the reasons we build with Accoya and assemble everything by hand in our East Sussex workshop.

When the fundamentals are right, the performance speaks for itself.
