Our latest project at Studio Glide Pilates shows why illuminated mirror walls need to be planned as a complete system.
Mirror sizes, panel joints, wall preparation, LED spacing, power feeds, controls and fixing methods all need to work together before the glass is manufactured.
In our new guide, we look at the practical details behind LED halo gym and studio mirrors — including how the space behind the mirror affects light diffusion, why electrical access matters, and when a bespoke fixing solution may be required.
Featuring real CreoGlass installation photography and technical design development.

Antique mirror isn’t about perfect reflection — it’s about atmosphere.

Bronze, silver and grey antique mirror can completely change how a room feels, from warm and dramatic to soft, architectural and understated.

In our latest guide, we look at how antique mirror walls can be used across dining rooms, hallways, bedrooms, staircase landings and hospitality interiors — plus how panel size, joints, bevels and lighting affect the finished result.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻. 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀. 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿.
Interior designer Emma Brambell came to CreoGlass with an amazing idea — peacock feathers flowing across 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘀, 𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱.
The difficult part?
Making the artwork actually look continuous once it moved across corners, separate panels and different planes.
Fine feather lines had to align across the L-shaped kitchen, the island worktop and its waterfall end. Even a small error would have been obvious.
The centrepiece was created using 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀, with the artwork carefully developed around the complete kitchen.
And after the kitchen was finished, Emma came back to us for her shower glass too.
A project that needed imagination, trust and a lot of precision — and one we're still very proud of.
Would you put artwork across an entire kitchen? https://link.msgsndr.com/sp/23db093e6bb

Light shouldn’t simply illuminate a feature wall — it should 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻.
From 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝘆𝘅-inspired surfaces and dramatic mineral finishes to 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝘓𝘌𝘋 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘪𝘵 𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴 can transform a flat surface into an architectural focal point.
Our latest guide looks at how artwork, panel layout and illumination need to work together — and why digitally reproduced stone on glass gives designers a very different level of creative control.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝘁.
C𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗚𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 was commissioned by 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 to transform high-resolution photography of their iconic push-fit products into a series of large-format printed glass artworks for their workplace.
The installation featured multiple bespoke glass panels mounted on stand-off fixings throughout corridors and office areas, turning everyday engineering components into striking corporate wall art.
The project is a great example of how branded imagery, photography and artwork can be transformed into durable architectural glass features for offices, reception areas and commercial interiors.

𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿.

For this private residence in Essex, CreoGlass designed, manufactured and installed a large feature wall using individually bevelled silver mirror tiles arranged in a staggered layout.

The challenge was not simply producing the mirrors.

Across a wall of this scale, even a small deviation in level, joint spacing or tile position can become increasingly visible as the installation progresses. The entire composition therefore had to be carefully surveyed, planned and set out before installation began.

Silver mirror was selected after reviewing both silver and bronze finishes against the property’s existing Venetian plaster, dark joinery and polished surfaces. A slim matte-black perimeter trim was then introduced to frame the installation and provide a controlled transition between the precise mirror geometry and the surrounding construction.

The finished result is a feature wall built around proportion, repetition and precise installation rather than decoration alone.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 — 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀.
Just two weeks before the opening of the new KitchenHaus showroom in Welwyn Garden City, the imported Italian onyx intended to form the centrepiece of the main display kitchen was destroyed during transport.

C𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗚𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲.

What started as an urgent replacement developed into a much broader collaboration.

We designed, manufactured and installed a bespoke LED backlit architectural glass feature, then went on to create a bookmatched illuminated w**e display, bespoke modular wall art and bronze mirror elements throughout the showroom.

One of our favourite details came from an entirely different problem.

A large fire alarm cabinet beside the entrance needed to remain accessible for regular testing, but there was only around 100mm clearance behind the opening door.

Instead of simply boxing it in, we designed a removable slatted artwork system with concealed fixings. The building service remained fully accessible, but visually it became part of the interior architecture.

The showroom opened on schedule.

It’s a project that captures what we enjoy most about bespoke work: solving difficult problems through design, manufacturing and practical installation experience.

If you’re planning a Pilates or reformer studio, the mirror wall is more important than it looks.

Should you choose standard mirrors or LED halo lighting? Do you need J-channels? Is silicone still required? Can you install the mirrors yourself? And what should you realistically budget for a bespoke commercial installation?

We’ve answered the questions we get asked most often in our new guide to Pilates studio mirrors.

Every bespoke project starts with a conversation.

When Craig Fairbrass and his wife Elke visited our showroom looking for a feature mirror wall for their London home, the brief was simple: create a statement piece that would enhance the entrance hall without overwhelming the space.

Following a detailed consultation and site survey, they selected our Nubis Antique Mirror finish, combined with a bespoke tiled layout extending from floor to ceiling across the full width of the wall.

Unlike standard mirrors, antique mirror glass softens reflections while still enhancing natural light and creating a greater sense of space. Every panel was manufactured to the surveyed dimensions before being carefully installed to achieve precise alignment and consistent joints throughout the installation.

Projects like this demonstrate that a feature mirror is much more than a decorative finish. When properly designed, it becomes an architectural element that complements the interior while adding depth, texture and character.

It was a pleasure working with Craig and Elke, and we're proud to have delivered a bespoke installation that has become a focal point within their home.

If you're planning a luxury residential or commercial project, we'd be pleased to discuss how bespoke architectural mirrors can enhance your space.
