Help Jewell of the Lakes Mindful Crafts decide which amazing workshops to run 🤍
Which would you love to learn? ✨

💎 A little question for you…

I’m planning mindful craft workshops for Jewell of the Lakes both in person and online and would love to know what you’d enjoy!

A chance to take time out, slow down and make something lovely in friendly company, with gentle guidance, a chat and time to relax. No crafting experience needed and no pressure to make anything perfect. 🌿

Which would you most like to try?

Comment with your favourite ideas. You can choose more than one! Or tell me another craft you’d love to try.

Would weekday daytime, evenings or weekends suit you best? And which town or area would you like me to hold them in?

Thank you for helping me shape these little moments of calm and creativity. 💙💎

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… 👀🎃 but these little cuties are to blame! 🧡

They’ve completely taken over my house while I’m busy making them ready for pumpkin picking season! 🍂✨

Who else is getting ready for all things autumn? 🧡🍁

Hello, I’m Lynsey Jewell, the creator and maker behind Jewell of the Lakes Mindful Crafts.

Crafting helps me with my own mental health and anxiety. Working with my hands gives me a chance to slow down, focus on the moment and take a break from everyday worries. I started my business because I wanted to share that sense of calm with others.

I create mindfulness craft kits and thoughtful mindfulness gifts, and I’m developing mindfulness craft workshops too. 🌻

My kits bring creativity and mindfulness together, exploring different feelings and themes with extras such as affirmations, journaling prompts and playlists. I haven’t found kits quite like the ones I’m creating, which encouraged me to bring my own ideas to life.

For me, the joy is in having a go, enjoying the process and taking time for yourself. You don’t need experience, and your finished piece doesn’t need to be perfect.

Living in the beautiful Lake District, I find inspiration in the lakes, mountains and flowers around me.

As a former teacher, I love encouraging people and watching their confidence grow—especially those who say, “I’m not creative.” I want people who feel anxious, overwhelmed or simply need a little breathing space to feel welcome.

What makes me smile at the end of the day is the thought that something I’ve created could help someone pause, enjoy a moment of calm and feel pleased they’ve made time for themselves.

Thank you for being here as my little business grows.
