I've been working as a stove installer for last 9 years for one of the leading suppliers and installers around. As part of my job, i've installed hundreds of stoves over those years and specialised in fully bespoke work using a range of different stoves, materials and finishes. I can offer the supply and installation of the wood burning stove, chimney and all fireplace hearths and materials. I off

er a fully bespoke service to give you the fireplace or feature that you're looking for and an all-trade finish to the works, with only finished decor needing done at the end of the installation. As well as supplying, fitting and servicing wood burners, i also carry out maintenance works such as small roof repairs, guttering, fencing, plastering and many other home maintenance needs.

As we approach the winter months and changeable weather, demand always gets really intense.

The closer it gets to Christmas, the busier it gets, after all, there's nothing better than relaxing in front of a wood fire with a glass/bottle of wine and way more mince pies than anyone really needs to eat!

To cope with the high demand, there are 2 of us that monitor the emails and social media daily to try and answer every inquiry for new and existing customers, the best way to contact us will always be by emailing at [email protected].

I do get a lot of calls or texts direct to me, and although I try and answer as many as I can, when I'm on a job, up ladders or with my head inside a chimney it isn't always possible. I also get a HUGE volume of spam messages and calls that are becoming harder to screen so some genuine calls and texts may be missed.

If you are needing a sweep/service, looking for a new stove install or looking for a bit of advice on your stove and how to stay safe this winter, email us today at [email protected] and either myself or Leza will help you out. 🔥🍷🎅

A little something about Slumbering your stove. Not everyone out there knows the dangers and the impact it can have on your chimney when not burning your stove cleanly.

Every stove user has a responsibility to burn their stove cleanly, using dry approved fuels, that are stored correctly and burned on a stove with enough air to aid complete combustion.

The videos below are a little insight in to what happens when there's not enough air getting in.

I'll be posting some handy tips going forward to help you get the most out of your stove and your fuel and to help everyone stay safe at home

Every stove is different, which is why following the manufacturer's instructions is so important. 📖🔥

Your stove manual contains valuable guidance on fuel choice, operation and maintenance, helping you get the best performance from your appliance while supporting safe and efficient use.

Taking a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the manufacturer's recommendations can help you enjoy your stove for years to come.

And After ! Gone is the bulky raised hearth and wall heat shield as this is not required with the right (and modern) stove, complete new chimney system and the Dean Forge Dartmoor 8 is just perfect for this large space and the customer cannot believe the difference in heat output ! 🔥

We do like a before and after …this customer had a Dowling stove for at least the past 15 years , maybe more and it served them very well , however upon recent inspection sadly the chimney system had deteriorated , melted infact internally. This stove really wasn’t built to have a twinwall chimney fitted to it - but it held on for a while ! ….wait til you see the after ! The second picture shows a wee fake electric fire the customer had to get in the mean time while waiting for replacement , and a worried dog without his fire!
