This wedding was truly unforgettable for me as Auckland and Accrington united and two of my closest friends tied the knot after I introduced them at a friend’s wedding ten years ago. As a couple, they’re rock-solid, and being part of their journey has been pure magic. 🥝 🌹

exudes effortless cool, and the wedding reflected that. We aimed for the flowers to steal the show against the industrial backdrop of . Holly adores flowers, and we sought colour, texture, and vibes. With a focus on flowers and minimal greenery, I’d say we nailed the brief. When I said “I’ll just buy it all”, I meant it - with dramatic anemones, Pink Floyd roses, delphinium, butterfly ranunculus, amaranthus, snapdragons, lisianthus, tanacetum all making an appearance.

chose traditional Lancashire red roses for himself and the groomsmen, so we selected Naomi Porta Novas as the perfect match.

We kept the table decor simple with vase arrangements, complemented by bud vases filled with spring flowers - tulips, narcissus, and charming sweet peas.

The best part? I attended the wedding as a guest, and what a day it was. Thank you, Holly and Michael, for trusting me - I cherished every moment.

A special thank you to my support team and for their unwavering encouragement and patience during my ‘moments’ that weekend - I couldn’t have done it without you. Maybe the phrase ‘I DON’T WANT A FU***NG BATH’ is now etched in history 🤭😳

An update on Christmas wreaths… I took a huge step with a career change this summer and I’m so lucky to say that I’m super busy and I’m maxed out for next couple of months. As a result, I just can’t take on organising any Christmas wreath workshops this year so sadly, the side hustle has to take a slight hiatus.

I’ll absolutely be back! I’m still very much available for bouquets and wedding enquiries, and I am so sorry to those who have enquired.

Jodie and Morgan - Wennington Hall 18/10/25

As soon as said the word “autumnal” I was all in, but the end result was even better than I anticipated. Every colour and every stem worked - we had texture, we had sparkle, we had drama and we had FUN. I love how the flowers can bring the whole vibe of a wedding together and I love working with colours and seasons. It had it ALL.

Jodie asked if I would add some flowers to the beautiful arch backdrop, and initially I said no because I’ve never done one before, wouldn’t have the time or materials to practice and generally just did not have the confidence. Then she said please would I try and I said yes, ok. I’m very glad that Jodie encouraged and trusted me to step outside of my comfort zone because I’m so happy with how it turned out.

As a side-hustle florist, time is precious and there are late nights and early mornings plus juggling the day job and wholesaler runs and turning your home into a workshop for a week, but the feeling of handing Jodie her bouquet and see her become overwhelmed with genuine emotion made my heart burst. This is why I do it. This is what makes it such a rewarding passion to have. Getting to see Jodie in her dress, with her bouquet in those final, quiet, nervous moments before walking down the aisle was the icing on the wedding cake.

5 bouquets, 8 buttonholes, 1 corsage, a top table piece, an arch piece, 40 bud vases, 1 beautiful bride, 1 incredible venue - ♾️ memories.

Managed to snag these beautiful, Dutch hydrangeas from the reduced section in n the wholesalers. As much as I love texture and all things wild, I also love the simplicity of white hydrangeas by themselves in a vase. Sometimes less is more.

Some frankly STUNNING wreaths made at tonight’s spring wreath class, hosted at the lovely . Thanks to Amy & the team for having us, and to everyone that came along. Lots of “I’m not creative”, and “I’ll be rubbish at this” proven to be totally WRONG! Everyone went home happy with a beautiful creation made all by themselves, it’s what we aim for! 🥰… onto Friday!!
