The biggest Christmas trend of 2024 is here! And no I’m not talking about bows, I’m talking matching your tree to your carpet 😉

Despite the surroundings I’m loving our tree this year! We’ve opted for a pine tree instead of our normal Norman fir and she is a beauty!! It’s been so nice to have a bay window to put the tree in and I can’t wait to see what this space looks like next year!

WE DID A THING! 🏡🔑 it’s all change over here as we’ve said goodbye to the Victorian terrace and hello to our 1930s reno house! It felt so strange leaving our terrace as not only was it our first property together, but it’s where we got engaged, where we planned our wedding and of course getting our fluffy dog child, Rosie! So lots of amazing memories were made! But we are so ready for our next chapter of doing up our new 1930s semi.

We have so many plans for the new place, it needs fully stripping out (which we’ve started already as you can see by the stairs!) and a new kitchen and bathrooms. We also have extension plans on the horizon so it’s going to be a full on journey for us!

I really hope you guys stay along for our next chapter as I will be sharing every bit of our Reno, the good the bad and the ugly!

In the mean time though, what should I change my account name to? Any ideas?

Ad.gifted. I’m in love with the new Christmas range from 🤍 not only are the candles refillable but you can get a matching matches pot too so they make a perfect gift. Oh and I can’t miss out how they smell INCREDIBLE, like good enough to eat level 😍

Hallway reveal part two - the details ✨ a post for the zoomers and the swipers!

From dark and dreary to bright and welcoming, I was lucky enough to work with some incredible brands on our hallway transformation and I couldn’t be happier with how this labour of love turned out! From changing the floors, stripping the bannisters, panelling and painting, it was definitely our hardest project to date

When we moved in the hallway felt very small and uninviting and we knew that it would be a challenge to brighten it up given its narrowness. But with a big old mirror to bounce the light and the right paint choices the space almost feels twice the size - well almost 😝

Cosy szn 🤍🤍 I’ve managed to come down with a virus so cuddling up on the sofa was how I spent my whole eve last night. Teaches me for thinking I can go out until the early hours at the age of 34 now! 😂🙈
