Visuals for someone who wanted bold wallpaper and lots of colour in their utility. Utilities, boot rooms and downstairs toilets are rooms I think you can have a lot of fun with and make statement choices as they are areas you move through rather than sit in. Walk in pantry and laundry room with hidden appliances. I suggested building a false wall in a long galley kitchen with double glass doors through to the utility/ pantry area.

This meant we could use the light from the kitchen as there are no widows at this end of the house.

I kept the centralised area pretty to look at from the glass double doors, hiding all laundry baskets and working areas behind cabinet doors.

If you think you can’t have both a pretty pantry and utility there are ways round it!

Some visuals for a family bathroom. If you have the opportunity to add recessed lighting into your shower or zoned lighting with wall lights and niche lighting then do it! Nobody wants a relaxing bath with surgical level spotlights 😊
