It’s been nearly 8 months since we lost our beautiful and brilliant Mum/wife, and took the reins of her brilliant creation, The Simple Interior Company.

These 8 months at the helm have been bittersweet. Whilst we’ve missed her so deeply every day, it’s been an honour to keep our Lindsay’s dream alive. During this time we’ve made so many amazing connections, and learnt so much. But we’ve also had to wrestle with the impossible decision about what we do next.

With the recent milestone of her birthday; we sat down and realised the only way we could make this decision was to be guided by Mum.

Anyone who has spent time with her over the years will know that the thing she put first every time was her family. And we know she would want us to do the same (and be furious with us if we didn’t!).

So we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to close the doors to The Simple Interior Company, with our last date in the shop being Saturday 5th September.

We will continue to have remaining items on the website for a little while after this date, and will be in the shop every Saturday until then, with new promotions each week to celebrate the different items Mum picked out.

We hope to see you over the next few weeks, and thank you so much for your support, custom and friendship over the years.
