We sell unique gifts made by local crafters, wool, haberdashery, craft supplies and craft kits

We are located at 17 Queen Street, Dawlish, EX7 9HB

Come and find unique work by our local crafters. Jewellery, gift boxes, cushions, knitted toys, mobiles, hand crafted cards, knitted/crocheted garments, artwork, bunting, giftware, souvenirs and more ! We also offer a wide range of wool and knitting/crochet accessories, haberdashery, craft materials and art supplies. Our knitting and needle crafts group for beginners and advanced is currently meeting once a month. If you would like to join us - you can display your craft creations with us, we take a commission on sales or join our volunteers team. Volunteer with us.

We are looking for someone special to join our wonderful team of volunteers.

Shop experience would be an advantage, but not essential. As full training will be given.

You would need to be able to work one day a week and also help provide cover for sickness and holiday, now and then.

Take cash and card payments.
Record all sales.
Keep the shop restocked, clean and tidy.

Engage with customers giving help and advice, where possible.

Most vital is being proficient in tea and coffee making as our kettle is never cold.
We provide the biscuits.

Morning all, next years workshops are as follows.
Please note we only take a limited number of adult crafters per session, the workshops are held in the shop on a Thursday afternoon from 1.30pm. All of our workshops must be prebooked and are free of charge all materials are included.

1) Needlefelted landscape 18th & 25th February
Recreate one of our samples, a photograph of a place you love or let your imagination create one for you

2) kinusaiga 4th & 11th March. This is a Japenese fabric art, create a lovely picture, no sewing required.
PLEASE NOTE THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL , I may try and put an extra one on at the end

3) Kimekomi 18th March brighten up your Christmas tree with a fabric bauble using the same techniques as the Kinusaiga
PLEASE NOTE THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL although there may be a possibility to add an extra one on

4) Mandala door hanging 25th March & 1st April. Use Macrame techniques to create a lovely wall hanging decorated with artificial flowers and greenery (please note the hanging cannot be used outdoors)

5) Hedgehog brooch or greetings card 8th & 15th April
This is a needlefelting workshop with a small amount of sewing required.

6) Resin dipped Butterflies 22nd & 29th April
This craft uses shaped wire dipped in resin to create the butterflies

7) Applique pouch 6th & 13th May
Decorate a useful pouch using fabric to keep your crafting bits n bobs in.
