I recently had the privilege of framing one of the poppies from the Tower of London” 2014 art installation “Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red” with 888,246 ceramic poppies. The 2014 installation filled the Tower’s moat and represented every British military death in World War I

The owner of this Poppy and I are very happy with the result.

Neville the bear arrived as a folded piece of material 120 x 120 cm and after some thought, planning and hard work he left as a framed centrepiece to be enjoyed by the all that he meets 💚

Thin deep white box frame and spacers, with mid grey jumbo mount and Artglass so Neville can be seen and watch with minimal glare and be protected from any direct sunlight

This was such an honour to frame. It’s such a beautiful painting and the work of a local young artist.

Framed in a simple white tray frame so no glass. There is a small 5mm gap around the edge, so the painting appears to float between the frame. The shadow line and the simplicity of the frame is perfect here.

I am sure it will take pride of place.

As we approach the end of 2024, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all my lovely customers, family and friends.
Once again it has been a pleasure to see all the different pieces of artwork arrive unframed or in old frames and then transformed ready for a new life to be enjoyed for many years to come. Here are some of the standout pieces that I have framed this year. I will be working up until Christmas Eve so if you have any last minute gifts that need a frame please get in touch.
