🥳🥳🥳 I’m so excited to finally share this one! 🥳🥳🥳
Roots & Bloom will be at the Etwall Farmers & Makers Market on Saturday 12th September! 🌿✨
I’ll be bringing lots of my handmade copper creations, including my Tree of Life designs, suncatchers, copper wire art and plenty of little handmade treasures. 🌳🧡
And yes… there may even be a few Christmas trees making an appearance 👀🎄🤣

I've been making a few little festive treasures… 🎁❤️
From handmade Christmas decorations and sparkly angels, to little snowmen and some pieces that might just make rather gorgeous earrings 👀😂
Every piece is handmade by me, one at a time, with wire, beads and lots of love ❤️
And because I can't seem to make anything quite normally… there are a few different designs, colours and styles in the mix! 🤣

When sleep refuses to show up… apparently the beads come out instead! 😂
The last week has been a bit of a blur of “well, I’m awake anyway…” — and this is what I’ve been getting up to in the small hours. 🌙
A few new pieces, a few experiments, a LOT of beads… and one very happy pair of hands. 🥰
From warm autumnal tones 🍂 to icy blues and purples 💜💙, sparkling crystals ✨ and, of course, plenty of trees 🌳…
It’s not quite finished yet, but I couldn't resist sharing the WIP.
I never quite know what’s going to come out of the Needle Shack when I start… I just pick up the wire, choose some beads and see where it takes me.
Apparently, insomnia has its creative advantages! 🤣

Back in the Needle Shack and already getting started on new pieces for my next fayre! 🥰
This is the beginning of a new Midnight Ember Tree 🖤❤️💜✨ — but she's very much a WIP at the moment!
Wires prepared, beads chosen and the first little branches starting to take shape… 🌳
I love this part of making — watching a handful of wire and a pile of beads slowly turn into something completely unique. ❤️
There’s still lots of twisting, wrapping and adding to do before she's finished, but I thought I'd share a little peek at the process. 👀✨

🌿 Roots & Bloom — what a day! 🌿
Well… where do I even start? 🥹❤️
Today was my first Summer Fayre with Roots & Bloom, and honestly, I am completely overwhelmed by the love and support we received.
To everyone who came along, stopped at our stall, chatted to us, bought something, asked about bespoke pieces, shared our posts, followed Roots & Bloom, recommended us or simply took the time to tell me how much you liked my work…
THANK YOU. 🥹❤️
I genuinely don't think I can put into words what it meant to hear so many lovely comments about my crazy little wire creations! 😂❤️
And then there were 3@ bespoke enquiries, people asking about future fairs, and even someone insisting I need to do the Swarkston fayres because apparently Roots & Bloom would be a massive hit! 🤣🥹
And then I came home to THIS beautiful post from Amanda…
Wow. Just wow. 🥹❤️
Amanda Dawes and Andy, thank you so much for coming along to support us and for taking the time to write such incredibly kind words. It honestly means more than you know. ❤️
Today wasn't just about sales (although £370-ish 🤯🥹) — it was about realising that people genuinely connect with the things I make.
Every piece is handmade, usually in my little Needle Shack, with a ridiculous amount of copper wire, beads, patience… and occasionally a few choice words when the wire refuses to behave! 😂
Today has given me the biggest boost and reminded me why I started Roots & Bloom in the first place.
So from the bottom of my heart…
Thank you for believing in my little creations. 🌿❤️
And to everyone who supported us today — you've helped Roots & Bloom take its very first little step. 🥹🌱
And I have to give a massive thank you to Tyler Wilson too. ❤️
She has been behind the scenes helping me with the social media, getting Roots & Bloom out there and supporting me through all the nerves, planning and chaos that comes with doing something like this for the first time! 😂
Having her there today meant so much to me. It really has felt like a little team effort, and I couldn't have asked for better support. 🥹❤️

I think I might have everything ready for my first fayre… 🤔
Stock? ✔️
Bags? ✔️
Tags? ✔️
Ribbon? ✔️
Packaging? ✔️
Display bits? ✔️
Tools? ✔️
Probably far too many things packed into boxes? ✔️😂
So what do I do now?
MAKE MORE. 🤣
Because apparently the thought “I might have enough” does not exist in my vocabulary!
The house is currently somewhere between a craft studio, a packing station and a small-scale Roots & Bloom warehouse… and I'm absolutely loving every minute of it. 🌿🤎
First fayre nerves are definitely kicking in now though! 😬
Wish me luck… and maybe send w**e. 🍷🤣

POV: You're supposed to be getting ready for your first craft fayre... 📦🏷️
Take photos. ✔️
Price everything. ✔️
Pack the stock. ✔️..Or get completely distracted by a new idea and spend hours making something that wasn't even on the list. 😂
I may never be organised, Sometimes the best creations happen when you're supposed to be doing something else!
