I’m off on holiday to beautiful Skiathos with my family for some much-needed rest!

Orders can still be placed as normal during this time, however nothing will be processed until my return on 27th May.

As soon as the weather starts to improve, my coastline prints always become favourites again......There’s something about sunnier days that brings back all those special seaside memories — family holidays, coastal walks, hidden coves, favourite beaches and little harbour towns.

Over the last few months I’ve been busy designing lots of brand new coastline prints for you all, and here are just a few of them to share with you ✨

Sharing a small selection of the custom mountain contour prints I’ve been working on recently ⛰️

From the Lake District — Swirl How, Dove Crag and the Langdale Pikes — up to Scotland with Schiehallion, Goat Fell, Beinn Ghobhlach, Ben Venue and Ben A’an, and then over to Europe with Rosengarten in the Dolomites and Ellmauer Halt in Austria to name just a few.

Each one is hand drawn by me using topographic data, then finished with earthy tones designed to sit beautifully in your home. All prints are produced by me in my studio on the edge of the Peak District, on museum-quality fine art paper.

🌸🐰 Happy Good Friday! 🐰🌸

Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter weekend filled with (hopefully) a bit of sunshine and loads of chocolate!

It's been a crazy busy time over here at Jude River Design (wholesale orders are on fire 🔥, but I’m LOVING it!), so I haven’t had much time for socials lately. My newest folksy-style print is inspired by those slow, scenic paths that lead you somewhere beautiful. A winding trail through the trees, leading toward distant mountains and a rising sun — a little reminder to take the long way once in a while.

This hand-drawn illustration features cool mountain blues with a warm yellow sunrise glowing behind the peaks, capturing that peaceful early-morning feeling out in nature.

Happy International Women's Day 🌸

Aren't we all just a bit fabulous? I'd happily celebrate women every single day. Juggling so much, trying to do it all - women really are amazing.

As a woman, small business owner, mum, employee, wife - I often find it hard being the best I can be in all the different parts of my life. At the beginning of this week, for example, I shared on stories that I had lots of new designs to show and that I was really looking forward to the week ahead ..... and then life happened.

It was the anniversary of my mum's funeral, which suddenly brought back so many memories and left me feeling incredibly sad. At the same time, my son came down with a virus, so I obviously had to step into nurse-mode. Couple this with A LOT of wholesale orders to get out, and a tired peri-menopausal body - it all went to pot!!

Life does get in the way sometimes, but we carry on, we give ourselves grace, and we try again.

Shown in the photos is one of the new designs I'd planned to share with you earlier in the week. It's another folksy inspired print - a bit of a new style for me but one I do love to see. I love trying new styles and experimenting. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't!!

I hope you like this one - inspired by all the wild swimmers out there. Bringing the calm and freedom of wild water into your space with soothing nature inspired blues and greens.

Anyway I've waffled on a bit today, so I'll wish you a fabulous Sunday whatever you're doing, and here's hoping for a better week ahead.

I am just back from a long weekend in the Lake District. It was so lovely to get away, even for just for a few short days.

When I wasn't walking Wainwrights, I was relaxing in front of the fire designing this new print. It's my favourite way to switch off and I don't do it often enough!!

It's a folksy inspired illustration featuring rolling hills, wildflowers, and a lone hiker - with the words 'Stay Wild, Wander Free'. A reminder to embrace freedom, adventure and your natural self. Remain untamed, curious, adventurous and true to yourself. Don't let life's routines or pressures dull your sense of wonder. Something I myself need to remember from time to time!

January felt long....... but it gave me the space to slow down and look back.

After a hectic few months, it was nice to pause and really see how far my small business has come. So many wins, so many lessons and a lot to be proud of.
