I’m not a fan of the colder months of the year, so on my walk today I looked for nature’s signs that spring is on its way.

I wasn’t disappointed; lambs, iris, hellebore, a bumblebee and more! Nature is full of hope and new beginnings ❤️🌍

Hi everyone, hope you’re having a fantastic weekend. As quite a few followers have joined recently (thank you!), I think it’s time for an introduction post.

I started Climate Kind Crafts two years ago, largely because I love making things and find it benefits my mental health. I especially love making things that can enhance people’s homes and lives - the cosy glow of a candle, the scent of a wax melt or diffuser in your favourite fragrance…you get the idea.

I’ve also recently loved creating my wellbeing range of candles. Each one is fragranced with a blend of mood enhancing, high quality essential oils in an all-natural, vegetable-based candle. Whether someone needs a lift, help to relax during a difficult time, or a scent to aid sleep, there’s a candle for them. They also make wonderful gifts.

My ‘day job’ is in climate change, and with over fifteen years of experience in this field, I’m acutely aware of the need to reduce our negative impact on the environment. This extends to every product that I make.

All items handmade in very small batches; often items are one-offs. They are also vegan and cruelty free. Waxes are vegetable-based (soy or coconut), and materials such as wicks and candle decorations are natural and biodegradable. Packaging is recyclable and/or compostable, and packaging for shipping is often reused.

The ‘Love’ candle is a 200ml vegan soy wax candle in a black glass container decorated with dried pink rose petals. Available in pink or white wax.

This is an environmentally sustainable product, handmade in small batches, with a burn time of at least 35 hours.

The candle is fragranced with a Love blend which includes amber, thyme, jasmine, light oriental notes, clove, rose and vanilla.

I also sell soy wax candle refills to fit this container. A great way to minimise waste by reusing your candle jar. It’s also wallet-friendly!

Available in the UK only. Free set of three Valentines themed soy wax melts, fragrances with either the Love blend, Sakura (Japanese cherry blossom) or Orange Zest & Jasmine. They are packaged in Valentines themed packaging which is recyclable (see photos with this post).
