In my childhood it was common to hear adults say “What happens in the US will be happening here in 20 years”.
Democracy and the rule of law is under threat in so many countries. If we refuse to face this fact democracy will be trampled and we can expect our world to be run by heartless tryants.

I am reluctantly selling my SKUTT FM1027 due to lack of space as moving premises.
It has only been fired 190 times over five years.
The Kiln Master Controller feature simplifies setting firing for different kinds of clays and glazes. 4 and 1/2 shelves included in price
2025 new SKUTT FM 1027 kilns retail at £4, 680. This hardly used kiln will be available from the end of June For £3,500

Ceramic Hand Building Workshops with Carmel

Interested in ceramics workshops?
New hand-building ceramics workshops are being offered at Play And Recycling Centre, Derby.

“One course is on Saturdays and the other course on Mondays, £65 for a full course of three 2-hour sessions.
Saturday workshop course: 26th April 9.30-11.30, 10th May 10-12, 24th May 10-12
Monday workshop course: 2nd June 10-12, 9th June 10-12, 23rd June 10-12

You’ll start with pinch pots and simple plaques and move on to garden ornaments like poppies, reeds, wreaths and mushrooms. Items will be fired for you to collect”.
All materials and kiln firing included.

Booking and payment will be direct through our volunteer Carmel who is leading the sessions. Email Carmel: [email protected]
