😂💐 RIGHT… I’ve just read this story and I’m sorry, but I am absolutely TEAM FLORIST on this one.
Apparently a Love Island winner went into an independent florist, spent £20 on a bouquet, then took to social media to describe it as “pathetic.”

Pathetic?! 😂

I’ve seen the bouquet. For £20, there was absolutely nothing wrong with it!

Here’s a wee secret about florists that apparently needs explaining…

When you spend £20, the florist doesn’t take £20, skip through the shop and stick it straight in her purse. 😂

There’s the flowers.
The foliage.
The wrapping.
The ribbon.
The staff.
The rent.
The electricity.
The VAT.
The wastage.
And the actual skill and years of experience of the person making it.

And after all that…

YOU SPENT £20, SON. 😂😂😂

You can’t walk into an independent florist with twenty quid and expect them to recreate the hanging gardens of bloody Babylon.

And considering you’ve won Love Island and presumably have a few more pennies kicking about than the average person… maybe instead of secretly filming a small independent business and slagging them off online…

dig a wee bit deeper into your pocket. 😂

Want a £50 bouquet? Spend £50.

Want a £100 bouquet? Spend £100.

Spend £20?
You’re getting a lovely £20 bouquet. 💐😂

Florists aren’t magicians. Although, to be fair, with what we manage to produce from some of the budgets we’re given…

we’re no far bloody off it. 😂🌸

High five to the florist for standing her ground. 🙌

Independent florists everywhere are currently nodding so hard we’ve all got whiplash. 😂😂

𝓐𝓵𝓬𝓱𝓮𝓶𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓪 -this is the plant I named my business after and spent far too long admiring in my garden yesterday afternoon and had a slurp on these little droplets 😆 I’ve been in love with this plant since being a kid. I remember seeing this plant in my Grandparents garden and the little jewel like blobs that sat shiny on the leaves. Later learning some of the folklore and remedies this plant is used for : Medieval alchemists and monastic herbalists viewed the sparkling droplets on Alchemilla (Lady’s Mantle) as “celestial water”—the purest form of liquid on Earth. They believed this mystical liquid held magical properties capable of helping transform base metals into gold or creating the elixir of life. Also used as a remedy in supporting menstrual health , dermatology and soothes digestive upset.

𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒅 🌿 I was asked to commission a besom in greens and straight away I could see her form for this beautiful person. They are rooted in the earth, even in the heart of the city. 🌾🏙️ Some souls never lose their connection to nature—they simply carry it with them wherever they go. 🌿💚
