Throughout my childhood I have fond memories of mum making outfits for me and my sisters but more importantly our Barbies. I was fascinated that a flat piece of fabric could be turned into something 3D. Best magic trick ever! I am the type of person who always wants to make or have something no one else has. Sophie Scarf by Petite Knit

As soon as I saw this pattern, I knew I had to try making it right away. I felt a strong urge to knit something, and after some research, I couldn’t get the by out of my mind.

I watched numerous YouTube videos, as it has been over ten years since I picked up a knitting needle. I am definitely not an experienced knitter!

All the supplies for this project were sourced from The Craft Shop on Sackville Street, Derry.

If, like me, you are looking to ease back into knitting, I highly recommend this pattern, along with all the beautiful patterns from

I have already cast on for another Sophie Scarf!

Oh, and if you have any tips on how to block your knits, I would greatly appreciate your advice.

I added this beautiful mother-of-pearl initial to my scarf, which gives it a lovely personal touch.

APEXcarry by Incomplete Stitches

I absolutely love the patterns created by Sarah from Incomplete Stitches. After seeing Rachael’s stunning APEXcarry of I immediately purchased the pattern.

I made the standard size and was pleasantly surprised by how much this bag can hold. My MacBook Air, sunglasses, purse, keys, and much more fit easily, with additional space for more items. This truly is the “carry all the stuff” bag!

My favourite feature of this design is the angled pockets, which open up endless possibilities for colour blocking—something I adore. I plan to make the oversized version next, as it will be a fantastic beach bag for the summer.

For this project, I used fuchsia pink, red, and baby pink canvas, paired with a floral print for the lining, allowing the colour blocking to shine.

Everything, except for the snaps, is from Minerva.com, which I absolutely love!

Sarah has crafted a brilliant pattern, and it’s one I will definitely make again.

Bonnies Bouncies We wanted the kids to have lots of fun and for our day to feel like a party rather than a traditional wedding. This company was fantastic, and the kids enjoyed every moment.

Miss Mels Photography We first met Orla many years ago when she took breathtaking photos of our son. We always knew that when the time came for our wedding, she would be the first photographer we would contact. Orla went above and beyond for us, and we're forever grateful for all the laughter and warmth she brought to the day. We absolutely love our photos and are incredibly grateful to her.

Walled City Brewery We searched for a venue that was child-friendly, and Catherine of Walled City Brewery not only made sure the kids had a fantastic time but also guaranteed that everyone enjoyed the day.

Holly & Lime Photography Photography My sister introduced me to Lisa, who captured the most breathtaking wedding photos for her. Lisa was brilliant; she worked away behind the scenes and captured stunning photos of our friends and family that we cherish.

Our day would not have been the same without the help and support from these amazing businesses.

Wild Alpaca Way

If you haven't yet experienced this amazing place, I highly recommend it!

You have the opportunity to walk alongside a beautiful alpaca while soaking in the breathtaking scenery. At the end of our adventure, we even got to feed our alpacas, which was a brilliant experience.

Being at Malin Head, the most northern point in Ireland, truly felt like standing on top of the world.

My alpaca was named Baba, and as the leader of the pack, it meant we were both in charge during our stunning walk—what a brilliant and amusing experience!

As you can probably tell, the wind was quite strong, which added a fun twist to my fabulous hair.We had an amazing time, and we will be booking another visit in the future.

Nothing beats a beach day! 🌊☀️

Our son absolutely lives for the water, so whenever we’re on holiday, you can usually find us by the shore. And of course… no beach day is complete without some yummy fish & chips! 🐟🍟

Today I’m wearing my by in this gorgeous floral fabric from Rainbow Fabrics

I made it last year and wasn’t totally sure about it at first… but this year I can’t stop wearing it! It’s the perfect breezy for the beautiful weather we’ve been having — and yes… 🙌

What a wonderful day I had at the Culmore Community Partnership Christmas Craft & Food Fair this past Sunday!

It's been years since my last craft fair—too many to count—but I loved every minute!

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Culmore Community Hub for organising such a enjoyable and relaxing event! I’m definitely planning to apply for next year as well.

I also want to extend my gratitude to everyone who stopped by to say hello and supported me by purchasing my items. Thank you!
