We are a family company, with a simple ethos “hand crafted, quality iron beds, guaranteed to last a lifetime”. With all our beds hand crafted in our very own workshop, situated on the Royal Sandringham Estate. Plus, we offer a wide range of comforting mattress, including brands such as Hypnos and Vispring. Allowing you to tailor make your perfect sleep sanctuary and never compromise on comfort again! Plus, we have become The first iron bed maker, carbon neutral and recognised by The Guild of Master Craftsmen. From agreeing a fair price before shearing and working with smaller farms to support animal welfare to scouring our wool with GOTS river-safe detergent and handcrafting each mattress so skilled artisans can feel every texture and grain for ultimate comfort, our commitment runs deep.

The weight of it in your hand. The gentle resistance as it’s polished. The rich, golden lustre that gradually emerges beneath the craftsman’s touch.

We use authentic brass, not simply metal made to look like it. And because we choose not to lacquer it, the brass can develop a natural patina over time, adding character as it ages.

More importantly, that original golden shine is never lost. With a little care and polishing, the brass can be brought back to its original brilliance, time and time again.

A finished bed can hide an awful lot.

Underneath the paint and polished finish are the details that determine how a bed is actually made: substantial iron, solid bars, solid feet and solid joints.

It’s why we think the better question isn’t simply, ‘Is it a metal bed?’

It’s, ‘Is it a handmade iron bed?”

This is one of those details you would never see once the mattress is finished. Yet it says rather a lot about how it is made.

British wool is carefully hand-teased, opening the fibres to create natural loft before it is layered around the pocket springs within.

Each element has a purpose. The pocket springs provide considered support, while generous layers of natural wool bring comfort and breathability.

Proper materials, skilled hands and time spent on the details that matter — even when you’ll never see them.
