It's 1st August, and you may (or may not) be aware that it's National Yorkshire Day. 6 years ago I was invited to take part in the Great Yorkshire Pudding Challenge with my recipe for Beef with Yorkshire Pudding Waffles.

While I didn't win, I really did enjoy the experience of a cooking competition, but it was great to tell my sons who are now 10 years old all about the day.
