Most people think thicker carpet = better carpet.

Not always.

Some of the thickest carpets:
• flatten quicker
• show wear faster
• are harder to maintain

Whereas a denser, shorter pile often holds up much better over time.

It’s not about how it feels in your hand for 10 seconds — it’s how it looks after months of actual use.
