I've had to edit out the maker of this awesome blanket, as it's a special gift for someone. Lucky them! It's nit finished yet but the colours are so lovely that I wanted to show you right away 🤩😍🤩😍🤩

The yarn is mostly a mix of DKs by West Yorkshire Spinners - Croft, Fleece BFL, Jacob, with a little bit of acrylic to get the correct shade of red. Gorgeous 😍

Something new (and blue).

A little bluebird of happiness that doubles as a needle threader. It has a tiny, rigid hook instead of the wire. I tried it with the smallest needle I could find and it worked perfectly. They are a bit dearer than the other sort but they are worth it 👌

JULY 2026 - HOLIDAY CLOSURE!

It's that time of year when folk are wanting to go off on holiday - lucky them :-)

The shop will be closed on 15th/16th/17th July, then OPEN on Saturday 18th.

Closed Monday - Friday the following week, that's 20th to 24th, then OPEN and back to normal from Saturday 25th.

NEW SHOP OPENING HOURS

Hello all, I've been reviewing my work/life balance and the outcome is that the shop will be closed on Wednesdays for the foreseeable future. I know this won't suit some of you but I've got to do what's right for me!

So our new opening hours are:
Monday - 10am - 5.30pm
Tuesday - 10am - 5.30pm
Wednesday - closed
Thursday - 10am - 5.30pm
Friday - 10am - 5.30pm
Saturday - 10am - 5.30pm
Sunday and bank holidays - closed.
