CHARITIES

A chance to introduce the two charities that we are supporting this year.

The MS Therapy Centre Oxford
This centre is very local and situated in Milton Park. Although primarily set up to help people with MS manage their condition, the complimentary therapies available at the centre can also be beneficial for people suffering from a range of conditions as well as promoting recovery for some cancer survivors.
We paid them a visit and we are always amazed by the facilities they have there, although you would not realise it from the outside!

Volunteers from OMSTC will be helping us on the day and we will have leaflets available should anyone want any more information.
Please come and say hello at the Raffle table!

The Motor Neurone Disease Association (Oxfordshire Branch).
This charity was nominated by a Harwell resident and volunteer. The Oxfordshire branch of the MNDA supports people locally with financial support, organising regular support groups for people affected by the disease and also, if requested, provides individual support by their trained Association Visitors. They also contribute annually to research projects and the services and support provided by the national association.
