Right everyone time to step up!
As most of you know my gorgeous hubby was taken from me and his sons way too soon by the evil that is a glioblastoma brain tumour.
Many of you may have seen the young swimmer Archie pleading on breakfast tv to Andy Burnham to make changes to focus and funding for this horrendous disease.
1% of cancer funding goes to Brain tumours and this needs to change. All I hear is oh glioblastoma is a rare brain cancer but on the other hand all I hear is more and more cases of it so maybe not so rare after all? 🤔
I have set up a much loved page in Davis’ name to raise funds for Brainwaves NI, a small local charity volunteer led who support all affected by brain tumours and also strive to increase awareness and help vital research at Queens University.
Please dig deep and donate a few £££ for this wonderful charity who operates without any government funding.

So this is a post I never thought I would ever be writing. Last night at approximately 9.30pm my beautiful, funny, generous, cheeky husband lost his fight with the evil that is Glioblastoma brain tumour. Since receiving his diagnosis and prognosis last year he has fought so hard and tried so hard to keep living our lives as best we can. But over the past few weeks he just got so tired and wee body could just take no more. To say I’m devastated is such an understatement, I will miss him forever 💔

Wee painted and stitched rascals handed over yesterday. The gorgeous Hank and Hunter painted onto calico fabric using Inktense pencils and paints. Details added with free motion embroidery to give a sketchy outline effect

Another fantastic morning spent at Kilcooley & Ards North Down Womens Centre today. We were creating some pretty snowdrops and I think everyone did amazingly- can you spot a visitor within the group having a wee go ?
