A compact bathroom, reworked with care.

At Orchard House, the existing layout was reconsidered to make better use of a small footprint.

The door was flipped, the WC was repositioned, and the layout adjusted to allow for a walk-in shower. The vanity was also repositioned, creating a focal point that felt proportionate to the room while improving how the space worked day to day.

These changes were about improving circulation, creating clearer function and allowing each element to sit more comfortably within the space.

The finished bathroom brings together tumbled marble flooring, soft green cabinetry, Claybrook tiles selected to draw tone from the vanity and create a more coherent scheme.

A practical room, shaped through layout, materiality and everyday use.

For us, this is where thoughtful design becomes personal.

From survey to material selections.

A simple look at the early stages behind one of our bathroom projects, from measuring and observing the space to seeing the interior now move into decoration.

Before materials are selected or details are finalised, we take time to understand the room properly.

The layout.
The light.
The proportions.
The practical requirements.
The feeling the finished space needs to hold.

This bathroom is now beginning to take shape on site, with more to come as the final layers are completed.

At the centre of this Dorset home sits a space shaped around light, connection and daily life.

The atrium connects one area of the house to another, allowing the interior to be experienced as a whole rather than a series of separate rooms. Natural light moves through the space, drawing the eye towards the garden and softening the architecture throughout the day.

Every decision was considered in relation to the wider home.

Scale.
Proportion.
Furniture placement.
Materiality.
Sight lines.
The relationship between inside and outside.

Together, these details create a space that feels open, settled and deeply personal.

A home should not only be beautiful. It should support how life is lived within it.

Why we photograph completed interiors.

Photography is more than a record of a finished project. It is a way of capturing how a space is experienced.
