Shutters made a real difference.

This project started with a large open window where curtains were always being left open, which meant people walking past could see straight in. Privacy, a bit more seclusion at night, and helping keep the room cooler during the hot weather were all important parts of the decision.

Lisa visited first to talk through what was wanted and how the shutters would look, then Jake returned to measure up properly and confirm the lead time. Once everything was ready, the fitting was completed smoothly, cleanly, and without much interruption at all.

The result has worked so well that the upstairs shutters are already the next job.

Bay windows need careful measuring.

For this shutter installation, the bay windows needed a completely bespoke fit. Bays are rarely perfectly even, so the measuring stage had to be detailed, with every corner and level checked properly before anything was made.

Lisa spent time going through sample colours, louvre sizes and options, helping the customer choose what would suit the scale of the bay rather than rushing the decision. That personal communication continued throughout the process, including updates by WhatsApp.

When it came to fitting, the shutters were installed cleanly and carefully, with attention given to the home as well as the final finish. The result was a sturdy, neatly fitted set of shutters made to suit the space properly.
