I went to Podlaskie Muzeum Kultury Ludowej and it suddenly poured with rain so badly that I didn’t get further than the kasa/reception and had to give up. But at least they had a beautiful rug on the wall.

I suddenly came across this wooden cerkiew/church blueness on a side street in Bielsk Podlaski, I was hungry and looking for somewhere to eat, but that had to wait, wow it was amazing, newly renovated by obviously devoted Orthodox Church goers it looked just wonderful .

I passed a shop and the light was ideal….. like a photo shoot.

As usual I am driving around the Polish countryside photographing the wooden houses, this one was very sad and abandoned, someone had gone to the trouble of adding decoration when it was first built, it had a well, shed and dug out cold store in the garden and no one wants it now.
