Core memory unlocked!! This was my job on a Sunday morning as a kid, I couldn't resist this box of delights when I spotted it, gutted I don't have a trifle bowl but in good old northern style it just gone in the mixing bowl.

Does anyone else have a gorgeous food related memory for a Sunday?

Something totally different for me... An example made up for a lovely art birthday party.... Simple mark making with found objects and bits nabbed from the garden... A really relaxing way to paint and one I might have to have another go at!!

Yesterday was so quiet at Wimbourne family fest... It can be really hard on the confidence and waistline when you don't not have a great day (I ate allll day) however sometimes you have to carve out pleasure in the quiet... Today I turned back up, expecting not a lot so I won't be disappointed at close of day but the secret weapon is take something to bring you pleasure.... So today I have my crochet hook and a ball of yarn, a flask and maybe a KitKat Chunky.... Chin up, hooks out x

What a gorgeous little preview for the Galactic Furzey trail this evening... I'm so so so pleased that the rocket looked amazing and like a rocket when I saw it, and it was surprisingly glittery in the sun (I've not seen it outside before)
A huge project with a glorious ending. This is clearly the biggest piece I've painted, I had some lovely helpers who I will miss spending time with on a Friday.
As well as the rocket I was also able to spot Sprout Merryfoot... My addition to the woodland zone!
