After taking a little time away, I’m so excited to be back and sharing my passion for interior design once again.

For those who are new here, I’m Harvey, the face behind Harvey Cormack Interiors. I have a real passion for creating beautiful, timeless interiors that are both stylish and practical, helping people transform their homes and businesses into spaces they truly love.

Whether you’re looking to refresh a single room, redesign your entire home, style a commercial space, or create something magical for the festive season, I’d love to help bring your ideas to life. Every project is designed around you, your lifestyle, and your vision, creating spaces that feel personal, functional, and full of character.

Been spending some time in Jersey and it’s been such an inspiring trip!

From charming homes to sleek coastal retreats (and even some beautifully styled boats), the interior design scene here is full of character. I’ve loved exploring some amazing home and interior shops on the island so many creative ideas and unique pieces that reflect the relaxed yet refined Jersey lifestyle.

What have I been up to recently? Just the most amazing time at Design Seven doing some work experience. The team was honestly the friendliest, most incredible bunch. Massive thanks to Kelly, Paul and the whole team for giving me this amazing opportunity.

I’ve loved learning my way around Photoshop and InDesign, setting up my own projects, working out floor plans. I was even given a brief for my own project and had so much fun pulling everything together.

It all ended with the opening of two stunning show home they’ve recently designed, such an inspiring way to wrap up the experience.

You’ve really opened my eyes even more to the world of design, and I’ve loved every single moment.

The Heirloom Hideaway

The Heirloom Hideaway is a space designed for quiet moments, evening cocktails and unwinding after a busy day. It’s a room that feels both storied and serene full of quiet character and timeless ease.

At its centre is a beautifully considered feature: a built-in bar, seamlessly integrated into one of the original cabinetry units. Lined with the same herringbone wood flooring that runs beneath your feet. It’s a subtle textural detail that grounds the space and ties the old in with the new.

Every element in this room is designed with care from the warmth of natural materials to the gentle balance of heritage and function. A place to slow down, settle in, and feel truly at home.

Introducing Kingfisher Grove, a calming, nature inspired bedroom designed with warmth, texture, and timeless style in mind.

The highlight of this scheme is the beautiful Caravelle fabric in Kingfisher by Ashley Wilde, used here as a floor to ceiling upholstered headboard. This replaces the need for wallpaper behind the bed and creates a soft, luxurious focal point in the room.

Rich teal and warm earthy tones are echoed throughout the design, paired with natural textures like cane, linen and velvet. Finishing touches include vintage-style bird prints, a sculptural table lamp, and layered cushions for a relaxed but elegant look.

A restful, inviting space with classic charm and a grounded, organic feel.

One of my favourite textile designers has to be William Morris. There’s something so timeless and comforting about his work. They are full of natural beauty and intricate detail. His patterns are filled with birds, flowers, leaves and winding branches.They are truly designs that will never go out of style and still feel completely at home in modern interiors.

Here are some of my favourite wallpaper designs and why I love them:

Willow Boughs Blue
So calming and serene. The soft, flowing willow leaves give it such an elegant feel. It’s simple, but full of movement like a gentle breeze drifting through the trees.

Bird & Pomegranate Blue and Sage
Rich and full of story. Birds nestled pomegranate trees.It has a very classic, cosy feel.

Strawberry Thief Indigo and Mineral
One of Morris’s most well known prints and definitely one of my favourites. It’s playful and full of charm, with little birds cheekily stealing strawberries from the garden. The indigo and mineral colourway gives it a slightly modern twist while keeping all its vintage character.

Blackthorn Green
Bursting with life,wildflowers, twisting stems and a lovely layered look that brings the countryside straight into the home. It’s bold, fresh and brimming with energy.

Melsetter Indigo Rose
Romantic and full of drama. Big, blooming florals in rich indigo and rose tones. Striking but soft at the same time.

Pure Honeysuckle & Tulip Grey and Blue
This one feels more modern and pared-back. It’s a subtle reimagining of the original Honeysuckle & Tulip design in a calm grey-blue palette. Still floral, but more delicate and contemporary.

I’m also a huge fan of the Habitat x Morris & Co. collaboration, such a brilliant way to bring these classic designs into today’s homes. From soft furnishings to furniture and accessories, the pieces are beautifully made and thoughtfully styled. It’s lovely to see Morris’s work celebrated in a way that feels fresh while still honouring the heritage.
