Hi everyone welcome to something new and very close to my heart
As some will know on the 4th of June we as a family lost a very important member after a battle with breast cancer ,she was my wife and mother to my children, the wonderful Kay Langridge
Myself, kay and our children have for many years enjoyed our passion of collecting, restoring and showing our collection of coach built prams ,
In December 2022 I suffered from a major disc compression in my lower spine which left me nearly paralysed and meant I could no longer return to the physically challenging world of gardening
As we look towards the future I’ve decided to do something with the prams
So here at Hampshire’s pram sanctuary and hospital I plan to help as many people enjoy these wonderful prams as possible
Now there’s 2 parts to this venture ,
firstly the sanctuary, the sanctuary is the family’s collection, a place where prams ect can come to be saved from the tip and live a full and varied life with us
Secondly , but more so important is the hospital
The hospital will be available for restoration/customisation or minor repair jobs
We never turn a project away !!
Prams can either be donated/sold to the sanctuary or booked into the hospital for a free quote and repair or refurbishment
The hospital is currently under construction and should be completed by the end of August 🤞
Please note the hospital is not just exclusively for prams .
Bikes ,trikes ,pedal cars ect all welcome big or small
We’ve even been know to turn out the odd Victorian bath chair lol
Kay always said “every day is an adventure”
So please join me and the kids on this new adventure as we head forth into a new future one we never planned for ❤️
