Finally got round to trying out the turning kit along with their pen blank jaws. The jaws could do with going slightly smaller for the smaller cut blanks but apart from that not a bad start to pen .

No turn last week as I didn’t have time. Took a trip to in and bought these. A bed extension to increase my swing, a pen kit, spindle blanks (going to attempt a snowman with a skew) and a lovely Elm bowl blank with some fine burr inside. :)

Managed to get out again. :). Finished this piece. bowl with a lid. Could have been a lot better but I do like the purple heart wood. Great to work with.
