Hello everyone!

We hope you are all well and moving on with everything post covid. It’s almost been a year since our last auction so we thought we drop you all a wee message and give you a wee update. It’s crazy how fast time has gone!

Kate and Bob are doing great. Kate says she’s busier than ever! This grandmother malarkey is a full time job. Bob fortunately has the other business which keeps him busy, otherwise I’m scared to think what Kate might have done to him if they spent 24/7 together!

Struan is still enjoying his tree work. He went on to work for a local company called Robertsons Tree Care Ltd . No relation whatsoever but it must be a good company with a name like Robertson 😉. The company have just started a page so if you’d like to follow it please feel free.

Anyway, hope life is treating you all well and you’re not missing us too much.

Good evening everyone,

It’s been a while since we’ve last posted so I thought I’d say hello. We hope you’re all keeping well and enjoying this amazing weather we’ve been having. Bob and Kate have been busier than ever, who said retirement is relaxing?!

Anyway, surprisingly our building is still up for rent. We’re shocked it is as it could literally be turned into anything you wanted. ***FOR RENT***

Well it’s been a week into Bob and Kate’s retirement and I think they’ve been busier than ever!

Firstly we’d like to thank you all for your well wishes on our goodbye post last week. All your messages are really appreciated.

Secondly, we’ve now got a large building on our hands that’s up for rent. The building is now completely empty and you’d be amazed at the space. It would make a great workshop, storage or any form of industrial unit.

Well that’s a wrap folks!

This is our final ever auction and we’re going out with a bang! This sale is nearly 300 lots of either quality modern items or antique and collectable pieces.

Although it’s out last auction, Covid regulations still apply. Please don’t attend the sale if you’re unwell or if you’ve been in contact with any positive cases, face masks are compulsory, we have the 2nd saleroom empty with plenty space for you all and hand sanitiser is plentiful. Just a quick reminder that although we are in the process of closing down, we are continuing to adhere to the social distancing guidelines. ***MEMORIES***

One of our customers today had an excellent idea that we wanted to share with you. As you know we’re closing at the end of May and we would like to create a book with memories and photos from our customers both past and present. Some of you have been attending our auctions when they started in the Ashfield village hall, over 40 years ago so I’m sure you’d have a story or two.

If you have any fond memories, short anecdotes or photographs of the auction please feel free to email them to us. We can either keep them anonymous or we can include your name in the book.

As we’ve literally just thought of this today, we’ve yet to decide whether we sell the books and donate the profits to charity etc. We’ll keep you all in the loop.
