A good few years ago my brother Iain and I used to walk around Edinburgh taking photos which we’d then develop and print (in the days before digital photography)
I took this one of Iain in an old doorway in 1993 and I used the same photo as reference for my first attempt at woodcarving just after his death in 2019.
I’ll be sticking with the 2 dimensional artwork for now but I thought I should include this here today in memory of Iain on the 4th anniversary of his death.
