Each eggshell pendants is totally unique, made using a mix of coloured egg shells from our beautiful backyard flock of chooks. 🥰 Available in a variety of sizes and shapes with either silver or gold fittings and chain. 🙌

Jini is living her best life these days. Turned out into a new field, munching grass and chilling out.. 😍

Unlike Jini, we've been all systems go here over the past week making winter preparations for our chooks! Lots of yard work and rearranging had to be done! 😳

I can't wait to reap the rewards of our hard work over the colder dark months ahead. 💪🙌 & I'll be back to some relaxed crafting at the weekend! 🥰

Real Eggshell Pendants 🥚🧡

These beautiful unique pieces are made using eggshells from our own happy flock of hens from 🥰

Our flock became a huge form of therapy for me during the dark days of winter lockdown last year and from there, so much has grown.. they helped me heal in ways I didn't know I had to, they gave me purpose and direction again. They revived my creativity and gave me back my love for life. 🙌

This makes working with their shells and these little pendants all the more close to my heart! It feels like my own small way to say thank you to them.. by creating something special out of what most classify as waste.. just to show someone somewhere how beautiful and spectacular these little birds really are.. 🧡

The chooks are so intrinsically linked to all things & I'm forever grateful to them for it all. 🐔🥰

Only... 3 field flower press kits and 2 more journals to go.. 😅 and that's just the books I've been working on, not to mention the other crafts.. 🙈 Can you tell I've missed making.. a lot?!

A happy little harvest. 🍒🌿

We gathered Damsons, Sloes, Haws, Blackberries and Rosehips.. 😍 All from the hedgrows on the lane leading to our house! 🙌

We already have Damson Jelly, Bramble Jelly and Haw Jelly setting in jars and I can't wait to make some Haw ketchup!! 😁

Today's the day! I've finally been cough & sniffle free for the past few days, so I'm getting back into the studio.. at last!! 🥳🙌 There's so many project I'm itching to get at!😍

First up on the list is going to be a field book flower press and a few resin pours!🌿🥚

Then if I've got enough time, I'm going to play with some coloured clay! 😁🧡

The latest piece I've been working on is complete. 🐾🧡

All the time out of the craft studio is a bit of a blessing as it has me all caught up on digital work. 🙌

I found a lot of my commission pieces tend to be in remembrance of special animals, and these portraits really do mean the most to me. It's an honor to recreate cherished pets and share memories with their owners. 🙏🧡

It's been a long week.. 🤒🤧

Just as I was getting into my little crafting groove again.. both Mark and I have been stuck down with a nasty flu. 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully its not covid 🙌 but nonetheless it's knocked me sideways.. 🤣

Starting to feel a little more human again though and yesterday I even managed to sit outside with the chooks for a while!

Collecting their beautiful eggs has me so excited for my next resin pour which can thankfully go ahead this week now that I'm on the mend! 🥳😁

Took my latest make out for a test run this evening. 💐🥰

I used to collect and press flowers a lot with my dad when I was little, he had bought me a cute little kids kit with a plastic screw press and everything! 🤭

I decided I wanted a bit more of a grown up version so decided to make a little field book flower press!

It's made using an accordion binding style for maximum flower pressing capacity and fasten straps to keep the book tightly together. 🙌

What do you think? Should I make a few more? ⬇️🤔
