Fitting artificial roll-out grass on a graveside is a practical solution for maintaining a neat appearance. At We Tidy Graves we have good experience of fitting this type of grass finish and will do a complete and efficient job.
Firstly we measure the graveside to determine the amount of artificial grass required and then clear the area of any debris, w**ds, and existing vegetation.
We ensure the ground is level by filling any low spots with soil and compacting it firmly and lay a w**d barrier fabric over the prepared area to prevent future w**d growth.
We would then unroll the artificial grass and cut it to fit the graveside dimensions using a sharp utility knife. The edges of the grass are then secured with landscaping staples or U-pins, spacing them approximately six inches apart to ensure the grass stays in place. For a seamless finish we would gently brush the grass fibres upright and spread sand infill evenly across the surface, which helps to weigh down the grass and maintain its appearance.
As part of a maintenance contract we then regularly inspect the grass to remove any debris and keep it looking pristine. This process results in a beautifully maintained graveside with minimal upkeep.
