We’ll soon be installing these secondary glazing to help improve thermal efficiency, reduce noise, and enhance comfort within the building — all while retaining the existing windows and character of the property.

True Window & Glass Centre (TWG) was engaged by to provide specialist support during the tender stage for the refurbishment of windows and doors at Townsville Academy, forming part of a wider maintenance programme including cladding and roofing works.

As part of our pre-construction services, our Technical Director, Graham Anderson, undertook a detailed site survey to assess existing installations and establish project requirements. From this, TWG developed a selection of aluminium system solutions, tailored to meet the client’s performance. The client selected a Sheerline aluminium system due it’s low u-values and slim sightlines.

Working closely with the main contractor, we ensured all proposed options were fully aligned with the project specification and programme. We successfully delivered this project within two weeks for three installation teams.

True Window & Glass Centre was successful in its submission to replace the existing aluminium windows at Grimme UK’s head office in Boston. The project formed part of the client’s wider commitment to upgrading the building, with a focus on improving performance, durability, and internal working conditions.

A key requirement of the project was the integration of internal blinds within the glazing system. This specification was driven by the significant levels of direct sunlight affecting the building throughout the day, which was impacting glare control and internal comfort. The inclusion of integrated blinds from Morley Glass provided an effective and discreet solution, allowing occupants to manage daylight levels easily while maintaining a streamlined appearance without the need for external shading systems.

We recently completed a project installing aluminium windows at a school in Castleford. The new installation has transformed the classrooms into quieter, more energy-efficient, and comfortable space for both students and staff.

We’ve recently completed work on a commercial unit, carrying out some structural steel alterations to then allow an installation of some UPVC windows.

The client wanted to rework the commercial unit to allow some light into their factory and repurpose the area.

TWG were appointed to replace the perspex in the bridge that had been closed for a number of years due to constant leaking.

Our team appointed a scaffolder and carried out the works over a two week period, carrying out the task safely and securely.
